- Scouts are responsible for; transportation to the event and coming prepared to hike (snacks, water bottle, poncho etc.)
- A parent or another adult must participate with each Scout on the Pack sponsored hikes.
- Siblings are welcome to come to all Pack sponsored hikes, (den hikes may be different according to that leader’s preferences).

- Scouts who participate in the hiking club will receive a hiking log card where they can record any additional hikes completed outside of the Pack/Den.
- Scouts who hike outside of Pack/Den sponsored events will record their miles on the hiking log and have it signed by a parent/supervising adult.
- Scouts will turn in their hiking log with their books for advancement.
- All hikes logged will be given credit. Although all Scout sponsored events need to be within the parameters of the guide to safe scouting (Tigers, Wolves and Bears completing only easy and moderate hikes during Scouting activities), your family may hike more difficult trails.
